The purpose of objection blocking is to stop an objection before it is verbalized. Once someone verbally tells you about an objection they have it is almost impossible to change their mind. If you can bring up a few common objections before they verbalize them along with a well thought out response, they will often feel educated and content with your answer.
But, there will be times when the objections or commonly asked questions will be brought to you. When this happens, you will find yourself using the Feel, Felt, Found method. So many times these objections were part of our journey as well, so you should be able to speak from experience when answering. For example, when someone gives you an objection you can say “I know how you feel. I felt the exact same way. But what I found was that....” This will allow you to connect with the potential customer and create a bond that allows you to continue with your education of our products and business.
1) Nothing Works for Me! So many times when I'm talking with people I hear them say that they have tried everything and nothing works for them. I felt the same way! But what I found with Plexus is that once the products helped my body to find a healthy balance, I was able to release the weight. I also noticed that my appetite and cravings were under control which allowed me to make healthier food and lifestyle choices.
2) I can diet and exercise on my own. Why would I need to pay money for something like Plexus? Diet and exercise are an important key to living a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, many people feel they don't have control over their cravings or lack energy to get up and exercise. If you can diet and exercise on your own, that is fantastic! But I know that I was missing the last piece of the puzzle. That was Plexus. Plexus allows me to keep my body in balance along with my cravings so I can make healthy choices. My energy has increased which makes me want to exercise. So instead of thinking of Plexus as a stand alone piece, think of it as the last piece of your weight loss trifecta....Plexus, diet, and exercise.
3) Plexus costs too much! So often we hear that people are worried about the cost of Plexus. But when broken down to a daily price, they often find that it is no more than their daily coffee or gas station snack run. On average, Plexus breaks down to $3 per day. If your cravings were under control and you have had more energy, do you think you could cut out some unhealthy choices in order to save $3 per day? The average coffee drinker spends $5.50 per day at their local coffee house.
4) Will I gain weight back if I stop using Plexus? The goal of Plexus products is to improve your overall health. During that time you may notice changes in your appetite, cravings and energy. This when so many people begin to make healthier lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise and water intake. If you stop using Plexus products and go back to old habits, you could gain weight. If you stay with your new healthy lifestyle, you will likely keep your weight in control as well.
1) Is Plexus FDA approved? No supplement or vitamin are approved or disapproved by the FDA. Plexus does comply with FDA regulations.
2) My doctor doesn't approve of supplements. Many traditionally trained doctors are not educated in the area of supplements. Therefore, they typically will say no when asked about a product like Plexus. It isn't because it isn't safe. They are just not educated on the ingredients, so it is less liability to just say no. You will find that doctors that are well versed on natural supplementation will happily approve Plexus as part of your routine. You may need to find a physician who uses traditional medicine along with natural medicine if you are seeking approval.
3) Is Plexus safe to take with (XYZ medication)? It is always recommended to ask your physician or pharmacist. Plexus Independent Ambassadors are not trained health care providers and can not make suggestions in regards to your health or medications.
4) Are there clinical studies available? Many people don't realize that clinical studies are done by pharmaceutical companies that cost millions of dollars and take many years to complete. And you will note by listening to the list of side effects on any given drug commercial, they don't ensure a safe product. Plexus does not feel the need to run clinical trials as the ingredients are as natural as possible and do not come with a long list of side effects. The customer and Ambassador base for our company and the success they have seen with our products acts as an organic trial with amazing results.
1) Is this a pyramid scheme? The network marketing industry including Plexus Worldwide is monitored by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). A pyramid scheme is illegal and would not comply with FTC standards.
2) I'm not a salesperson. Have you ever gone to a new restaurant and loved it so much you decided to tell all your friends, either in person or via social media. Sharing Plexus is not any different. When you love a product, you typically tell all your friends about it. The only difference is that the company or restaurant is the one making the money. With Plexus, you can make money by telling everyone you know how much you love the products. No selling involved. Only sharing.
3) I'm not computer savvy, so I can't run a business like Plexus. Although it does help to be knowledgeable about social media and computers, it is not necessary. Many of our ambassadors have shared Plexus by simply talking face to face or over the phone with their friends and family. There is no right or wrong way to run your Plexus business. Do what fits your lifestyle and it won't seem like work at all.
4) I don't know enough people. In the next 30-45 seconds count 10 people on your fingers that you know. Family, friends, or acquaintances. That was easy, right? I bet if you took the next 15 minutes and looked through your phone, address book, or friend list on social media you would be able to make a list of 100 people. Don't prejudge who you think would be interested in Plexus. The most unsuspecting people often will become your best customer. When you run through that list, where will you find new people? We meet new people every week. At work, church, activities, parties, etc. Add them to your list. You also have the option to ask for referrals from the 100 people on your list.
5) Everyone in my town has heard of Plexus. If you walked down the street and randomly asked the first 20 people if they've heard of Plexus, I bet the answer would be no. Plexus is in full momentum, but our target market is still largely untouched. If you feel that everyone has heard of Plexus, ask outside your immediate group of friends. You will find there are many people just waiting to hear about Plexus.
